This website is dedicated to Harry William Elrington, a rather extraordinarily beautiful baby who died from a rare mitochondrial disease aged just 65 days. His conception was a pure miracle and his short life was filled with complete and utter love, everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Harry loved him truly. His lasting legacy is firstly to support and help other babies suffering from the affects of a mitochondrial disease. Secondly to educate people on mitochondrial disorders and raise awareness of its devastating affects on the lives of those who care for special needs children.
Harry was the love of our lives and he lives on through donations made to children's charities, knowing that he is saving lives gives us some comfort and the realisation that he was with us for reasons other than being a beloved son. Please take time to browse his website and enjoy his story and pictures. But, more importantly take the time to really understand mitochondrial diseases and if you feel like donating to his fund then please accept our total gratitude and the reassurance that the money is going directly to help babies just like our gorgeous Harry.
